“Essence of adventure”

There’s nothing more exciting than the start of a trail. Especially those less traveled. Sit there and stare at it long enough to feel it pulling at your soul. Remember who you were before all of this. What does it mean to take the first step?

Clarity. Perspective. Humility.

Nature connects us all to the many virtues of life. In many ways, a trail into the unknown is like a mirror into the self. Though however difficult it might be to take an extended look, it’s far better than a glance. In today’s world so many images berate our eyes on a daily basis. Who went where? Who’s wearing what? What did they do with whom? The macro view of happiness has become too overwhelming that the micro cannot bear. And as a result, our drive to separate from the self weakens. It’s imperative that we never substitute glances over the real look.

However, I too feel apprehensive to embark on this publication. For I am overly skeptical on my ability to write compelling blog entries. Yet, the Nomadic Rag’s purpose, its mission statement, is to travel on personal discovery. I believe travel is much more than a shiny accessory, or a boastful post online. Rather, if carried forth with a yearning spirit and mindful wit, a denser appreciation of life will emerge. Highlighting small towns, big towns, local cuisines, sights and adventures the Nomadic Rag has it all! Are you ready to take the first step?
